You can make a tax-deductible contribution to the 93rd Street Beautification Association’s efforts to save Marx Brothers Place by phone, online or by mail.
The 93rd Street Beautification Association is in the process of preparing an application to the NYC Landmarks Preservation Commission, asking the Carnegie Hill Historic District be extended one block east so as to include the important collection of historic 19th century houses on Marx Brothers Place. This effort is quite an undertaking and requires the expert assistance of architectural historians, professional preservationists and land use lawyers.
To put forward the best campaign possible we need to ask for your support. We would greatly appreciate your generous tax-deductible contributions of $25, $50, $100, $250, $500 or $1000. All checks should be made payable to our fiscal agent: “Historic Districts Council”, and “93rd Street Beautification Association Fund” or “93rd Street” must be noted on the payment.
Mail checks to: Historic Districts Council, 232 East 11th Street, NYC 10003. To use a credit card, call HDC at 212.614.9107 and tell them you would like to make a donation to the 93rd Street Beautification Association.
Thank you for your generous contributions to our effort to protect Historic Marx Brothers Place!
